Overview

Perú is best known as the land of the Incas. It has an area of 1.285.216 square km. Peru is third greatest country of South America and is considered a tropical country.
Peru has three noticeable regions, a thin coastal zone, the mountains of The Andes of great width, and the forest zone of the Amazon. The coastal strip is mainly formed of deserts; nevertheless this zone is where the main cities are located. These are connected by means of the Pan-American Highway. The rivers run downwards from the east towards the west, sliding with inclined slopes, which causes that the rivers to be turbulent and generating narrow valleys where the greater centers of agriculture are.
In these three different regions are different exotic plants and animals that inhabit these three regions like flames, alpacas, vicunas, condors, pirañas and toucans. From this point Peru it is a natural paradise.
