Lima:

Lima is the capital of Peru and the repository of many of the finest Inca and pre-Inca treasures.
Lima was founded the 1535 and on as soon as in the short term it became the most important city of South America. Cuzco.-

Machu Picchu.-

Machu Picchu is probably the most familiar symbol of the Inca Empire. Since 1983 the site has been designated as a United Nations Educational World Heritage Site.

All of the construction in Machu Picchu use the classic Inca architectural style of polished dry-stone walls of regular shape. The space is composed of 140 constructions including temples, sanctuaries, parks and residences.

Puno ( Lake Titicaca)

Puno was host of the Tiahuanaco culture (800 to 1200 A.D.) and in the Aymara town that today is Peru and Bolivia.  Today, the city of Puno (3827 meters) is capital of folklore Peruvian and host of the Celebration of the Virgin of the Candlemas and rests between the borders of the Titicaca.

Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world.. The lake also lodges diverse islands, whose inhabitants have preserved ancestral customs and traditions. The National Reserve of the Titicaca (36,180 hectares) protects extensive totorales and diverse species of flora and fauna.

Arequipa

Arequipa is located between the sea and the mountains in southern Peru. The legend mentions that Arequipa was conquered by the fourth Inca, Mayta Capác and with its army in this zone solicited to have left itself, responding it to the Inca ari qipay, that in the language quechua means that yes we remained.

Amazon Jungle

Port Maldonado, the capital city, has some of the national parks and reserves of the zone and has been, at different times, an important center of rubber operation, wood, gold and petroleum. At the moment, two of the main economic activities of the department are the eco-tourism and the extraction of chestnuts.
About 10 km of Port Maldonado and after a one hour long walk is the Sandoval Lake, surrounded by aguajales, orchids, lupunas, mahoganies and palms trees of up to 30 meters high. The lake also is home of a great variety of species like toucans, guacamayos, parrots, herons, tapires, turtles, otters of river and black lizard, both in danger of extinction.
