Geografic Location

Peru, located in the Western region of South America, its limits:
North	Ecuador and Colombia
The South	Chile
Southeastern	Bolivia
The West and Southwest	The Pacific Ocean
East	Brazil
Total surface of the Territory .- 1.285.216 sq.km.; is the third greatest country of South America.
Lima is the capital and the main center of commerce and finances of the country.

Peru's territory is crossed from north to south by the Andes Mountains and is part of three natural regions - the Coast, one of the narrowest and driest deserts in the world; the high Andes Mountain range and the great Amazonian territory.
The Republic of Perú is a democratically elected government made of the executive authority – the President, the legislative branch and the judicial power.

Politically, Perú is divided in 24 departments and the Constitutional Province of Callao. Each department is constituted 180 individual provinces containing 1747 districts.
